Isabel Claw Clip

Isabel is named after my daughter, because she designed it. She was twelve when she drew it.

She loves butterflies and anything that catches the light, so she drew wings and asked for stones. We made it properly, in gold bio-acetate with the logo set on the inside, without smoothing away the parts that made it hers.

Bio-acetate is a cellulose material made from wood pulp. It carries a weight and a depth of colour that moulded alternatives do not, which is what separates a clip you keep from one you replace.
